{"id":6618,"date":"2024-07-22T15:23:30","date_gmt":"2024-07-22T13:23:30","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/plevenphil.com\/\u043f\u0440\u043e\u0433\u0440\u0430\u043c\u0430\/grose-messe"},"modified":"2024-09-21T16:07:49","modified_gmt":"2024-09-21T14:07:49","slug":"grose-messe","status":"publish","type":"ajde_events","link":"https:\/\/plevenphil.com\/en\/\u043f\u0440\u043e\u0433\u0440\u0430\u043c\u0430\/grose-messe","title":{"rendered":"Gro\u00dfe Messe"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The <strong>Pleven Philharmonic<\/strong>, the <strong>National Philharmonic Choir &#8220;Svetoslav Obretenov,&#8221;<\/strong> and <strong>Yordan Kamdzhalov<\/strong> combine their creative energies to present <strong>GRO\u00dfE MESSE<\/strong> (Great Mass) \u2013 F minor by <strong>Anton Bruckner<\/strong> at Bulgaria Hall.<\/p>\n\n<p>On the <strong>20th of September<\/strong> (Friday) at 19:00, at <strong>Bulgaria Hall<\/strong>, classical music enthusiasts will have the opportunity to experience Anton Bruckner&#8217;s monumental work \u2013 <strong>Great Mass No. 3<\/strong> in F minor for soloists, choir, and orchestra.<\/p>\n\n<p>This concert is dedicated to the<strong> 200th<\/strong> anniversary of <strong>Anton Bruckner&#8217;s<\/strong> birth.<\/p>\n\n<p>The musical event will begin with an introduction in which<strong> Yordan Kamdzhalov <\/strong>will share key themes, formulas, and ideas embedded in the composition. This format aims to facilitate a deeper understanding and experience of the work and the overall musical process, both emotionally and intellectually. <\/p>\n\n<p>On stage, more than <strong>130 <\/strong>musicians from the <strong>Pleven Philharmonic<\/strong>, the <strong>National Philharmonic Choir &#8220;Svetoslav Obretenov,&#8221;<\/strong> and <strong>soloists<\/strong> will perform together.<\/p>\n\n<p>The concert will be conducted by Maestro <strong>Yordan Kamdzhalov<\/strong>, with the <strong>National Philharmonic Choir &#8220;Svetoslav Obretenov&#8221;<\/strong> conducted by <strong>Tsvetan Krumov.<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n<p>Interpreting large-scale works by composers such as <strong>Tchaikovsky,<\/strong> <strong>Brahms<\/strong>, <strong>Orff<\/strong>, <strong>Stravinsky<\/strong>, <strong>Wagner<\/strong>, <strong>Mahler,<\/strong> <strong>Hindemith<\/strong>, or <strong>Bruckner<\/strong> is a common practice in the professional life of Maestro <strong>Yordan Kamdzhalov<\/strong>. Grand forms \u2013 opera, mass, symphony, cantata, requiem, and others \u2013 are preferred by him, and the audience is always captivated by his remarkable stage presence, interpretation, depth, and power of suggestion. <\/p>\n\n<p>In the spirit of the classical tradition, the mass is in six parts: <strong>Kyrie<\/strong>, <strong>Gloria<\/strong>, <strong>Credo<\/strong>, <strong>Sanctus<\/strong>, <strong>Benedictus<\/strong>, and <strong>Agnus Dei<\/strong>, filled with dreaminess and beauty, imbued with humility and spiritual strength.
