The Pleven Philharmonic presents the project “Let’s Listen to Cinema,” awarded the Crystal Lyre in 2021.

The charming Hilda Kazasyan, along with the fantastic musicians from the Pleven Philharmonic, are coming to immerse you in the world of enchanting Bulgarian film music from beloved movies.

On 20 March 2025 (Thursday) at 19:00 at the Municipal Theatre “Nevena Kokanova”, Dupnitsa.

The concert’s content touches the souls of music lovers and people who are not entirely devoted to jazz. The program features selected favourite and well-known melodies from Bulgarian feature films of all time, such as “Favorite 13,” “The Goat Horn,” “Adaptation,” “Yesterday,” and others.

On stage, alongside Hilda Kazasyan and the Pleven Philharmonic conducted by Borislav Yotsov, will be some of the best and most established jazz musicians in Bulgaria:
Hristo Yotsov – drums
Zhivko Petrov – piano
Dimitar Karamfilov – double bass
Mihail Yossifov – trumpet

Special guests are:
Theodosii Spassov and Vasil Petrov.
The multimedia, a central feature of this performance, has been prepared by Vasil Karkelanov.
The fantastic arrangements that give a completely new life to this much-loved music have been created specifically for this occasion by Zhivko Petrov and Hristo Yotsov.
