Project by Hilda Kazasyan and the Pleven Philharmonic.

To Listen to Cinema” stands as our inaugural program, weaving together some of the most beloved themes from Bulgarian films. It graced the grand stages across Bulgaria in 38 cities, earning the prestigious “Crystal Lyre” award for outstanding achievements in Bulgarian musical artistry. Building on this success, the team extended their musical journey with melodies from global cinema.
A concert spectacle that engages the listener and unveils scenes from iconic films like “Once Upon a Time in America,” “The Godfather,” “Kill Bill,” “Cabaret,” “Flashdance,” “Pretty Woman,” Charlie Chaplin‘s movies (“Modern Times“), and many others.
The project features a series of selected film pieces from beloved and iconic movies, with entirely new arrangements and interpreted by their magical voices.

On stage, alongside the Pleven Philharmonic Orchestra under the baton of Borislav Yotsov and soloists Hilda Kazasyan, Teodosii Spassov, and Vassil Petrov, are also some of the finest jazz musicians.

Zhivko Petrov – piano
Hristo Yotsov – drums
Dimitar Karamfilov – double bass
Mikhail Yosifov – trumpet

For an even stronger impact at the concerts, multimedia prepared specifically by Vassil Karkelanov will be present, and the new arrangements have been made by Hristo Yotsov, especially for the occasion.
