🎶 With Love to Vili Kazasyan
📍 ‘Nikolay Haytov’ Rhodope Drama Theatre, Smolyan
📆 29 October 2026 (Thursday)
⏱ 7:00 pm
‘With Love to Vili Kazasyan’ is the latest project by Pleven Philharmonic, featuring Hilda Kazasyan, Vasil Petrov and Theodosii Spassov.
The concert is dedicated to one of the most important figures in contemporary Bulgarian music – Vili Kazasyan.
His name is closely associated with the golden years of the Bulgarian National Radio Big Band and the ‘Golden Orpheus’ festival. He founded a number of musical ensembles and the legendary ‘Vili’s Trumpet’ competition, and composed film scores as well as some of Bulgaria’s most popular songs.
‘With Love to Vili Kazasyan’ is far more than a traditional concert. Above all, it is a musical and emotional production – an uninterrupted conversation between father and daughter. Through multimedia, Hilda Kazasyan and Vili Kazasyan will engage in a continuous dialogue, transforming the audience’s perception of what a musical production can be.
The programme features Vili Kazasyan’s best-loved compositions in arrangements by Hristo Yotsov.
