The new project of the Pleven Philharmonic, “Into the World of Music,” brings together the remarkable violinist Vesko Esckenazy, the virtuoso 
accordionist Veronika Todorova, and the conductor Georgi Miltyadoff – premiering on May 19th in Pleven. The diverse concert program combines popular classical pieces from Bach, Vivaldi, and Mozart to Aram Khachaturian and Petko Staynov, with film music from Ennio Morricone and John Williams, hits by Michael Jackson, and the rock band Queen.
“In the World of Music” includes “Melody” by the Ukrainian composer Myroslav Skoryk, “Horо” from “Thracian Dances” by Petko Stainov, “Waltz” from the music for Lermontov’s drama “Masquerade” by Aram Khachaturian, Toccata and Fugue in D minor by J. S. Bach, “Medley” from Piazzolla, themes from the movies “The Mission” – “Gabriel’s Oboe” (music by Ennio Morricone) and “Schindler’s List” (music by John Williams), the famous song by Frank Sinatra “New York, New York”, pieces “Opera” and “Tango” by the world-renowned Renzo Ruggieri, the original piece “Dance of the River” by Veronika Todorova, “Summer” from “The Four Seasons” by Vivaldi, aria of the Queen of the Night from Mozart’s opera “The Magic Flute”, “Czardas” by Vittorio Monti, the songs “Bohemian Rhapsody” by Queen and “Thriller” by Michael Jackson.
